Region III Distinguished Service Key Recipients

The Regional Distinguished Service Key is Region III’s highest distinction that can be awarded to a Brother. It is given in recognition to members for outstanding service to the fraternity on the Regional level. Presentations are made at Regional Conventions or at the Region Meeting of a National Convention on the recommendation of an Awards Committee. The key bears the greek letters of the fraternity in gold on a background of red enamel. It is worn around the neck of the recipient with a red ribbon.

It is given in recognition to members for outstanding service to the fraternity on the Sectional level. Presentations are made at Sectional Conferences, Region Conferences, or at the Region Meeting of a National Convention on the nomination chapters or alumni in the Section. The key bears the greek letters of the fraternity in gold on a background of green enamel. It is worn around the neck of the recipient with a green ribbon.

Chapter Distinguished Service Key Recipients

The Chapter Distinguished Service Key is an individual Chapter’s highest distinction that can be awarded to a Brother. It is given in recognition to members for outstanding service to the fraternity on the Chapter level. Presentations are usually made at formal Chapter events, such as initiation ceremonies, awards ceremonies, formals, etc, based on the nomination and voting by Brothers within the Chapter. The key bears the greek letters of the fraternity in gold on a background of black enamel. It is worn around the neck of the recipient with a blue ribbon.
